Generalized anxiety disorder: an evolving concept at the border of anxiety and depression

This talk will give an overview and history of GAD, describing its current definition and epidemiology. It will go on to review recent treatment studies. It emphasizes co-morbidity and discusses the clinical and construct similarities between GAD and depression – particularly the chronic sub-types.
